Jeanty’s 29 touches, McBride’s nine catches and Jefferson’s QB change: late-window roster review

Ashton Jeanty's 29 touches and Trey McBride's nine catches were the clearest volume stories in Sunday's September 13 late NFL window. Dallas Goedert delivered two touchdowns on four receptions, while Justin Jefferson stayed productive through Minnesota's forced quarterback change.

For RSO managers, the four games offer different questions for the next lineup decision: which players carried the workload, which converted a handful of opportunities, and where an injury leaves uncertainty. Sunday's results establish what happened in these openers; they do not settle next week's roles.

Jefferson produces after Murray exits

Minnesota beat Green Bay 39-22 after Kyler Murray left with a concussion. Carson Wentz threw three touchdown passes in relief, and Jefferson finished with eight catches, 92 yards and two scores. T.J. Hockenson caught a 16-yard touchdown as Minnesota began its comeback from 22-10 down.

Christian Watson supplied six catches for 147 yards and two touchdowns for Green Bay. His 81-yard score is the explosive play in the Packers' clip below; Matthew Golden added six catches for 95 yards. Both receiving lines survived a poor team finish, with the Packers conceding the final 29 points.

Murray's next availability is unresolved. Wentz's relief performance does not establish a permanent change at quarterback.

Goedert and Wicks turn limited catches into touchdowns

Goedert caught four passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns in Philadelphia's 24-22 win over Washington. Dontayvion Wicks added 73 yards and a touchdown on just two receptions. Their scoring mattered, but neither catch total should be mistaken for a large weekly workload.

Saquon Barkley carried 15 times for 83 yards. For Washington, Jacory Croskey-Merritt had 16 carries for 63 yards; Terry McLaurin finished with two catches for 14 yards. Moro Ojomo's stop on the tying two-point attempt preserved Philadelphia's win after the Commanders scored with 1:01 left.

Jeanty carries the offense without Bowers

Jeanty rushed for 102 yards and caught two touchdowns as Las Vegas beat Miami 27-13. His 147 scrimmage yards came on 29 touches, combining rushing volume with receiving scores while Brock Bowers was inactive.

Michael Mayer caught six passes for 32 yards, and Mike Washington Jr. added 41 rushing yards on seven attempts. Mayer's receptions provided work without a large yardage return. On the other side, De'Von Achane managed 36 yards on 11 carries as Miami struggled to sustain possessions against five Raiders sacks.

McBride leads; Allgeier and Love split the rushing work

McBride caught nine passes for 95 yards and a touchdown in Arizona's 26-14 win. Kendrick Bourne added eight catches for 75 yards, giving Jacoby Brissett two productive outlets.

The backfield requires a closer reading than the touchdown list. Love scored but had 11 carries for 41 yards; Allgeier had 17 for 61. Love's score did not come with the largest rushing workload. Simi Fehoko's blocked punt, shown below, set up McBride's touchdown from the Chargers' 3.
