  • The Green Bay Packers survived two fourth-quarter turnovers and stopped Tampa Bay’s final possession to beat the Buccaneers 17-14 Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. Jordan Love threw touchdown passes to Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft, and Trey Smack’s 58-yard field goal before halftime supplied the eventual three-point margin.

Green Bay led 17-7 after Kraft’s 2-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter, but rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels found Kenny Gainwell for a 10-yard score early in the fourth. The Packers twice advanced into scoring range with a chance to extend the lead and came away empty both times.

Kaleb Johnson lost a fumble near the goal line with 9:13 remaining. Later, Jacob Parrish intercepted Love’s pass intended for Golden, giving Tampa Bay another opportunity with 4:26 left. The Buccaneers moved from their 15 across midfield before Evan Williams sacked Daniels for a 6-yard loss.

  • An ensuing completion left Tampa Bay facing fourth-and-11. Daniels’ throw intended for Ted Hurst was initially ruled an interception, but replay changed the ruling to an incomplete pass. The result still ended the drive on downs, and Love ran out the remaining time with kneel-downs.

Green Bay’s first-half interceptions had produced its first 10 points. Williams picked off Daniels before the Packers assembled a 16-play scoring drive that included three fourth-down conversions. Love’s 2-yard pass to Golden finished that possession.

  • After Sean Tucker’s rushing touchdown tied the game, Edgerrin Cooper intercepted Daniels late in the half and returned the ball 18 yards, setting up Smack’s long field goal.

  • Love finished 22 of 30 for 197 yards, two touchdowns and one interception without being sacked. Kraft caught six passes for 42 yards, Golden had three receptions for 21 yards, and Christian Watson led Green Bay with 47 receiving yards. Johnson rushed eight times for 42 yards, while Chris Brooks gained 30 yards on four carries.

Daniels made his first NFL start with Baker Mayfield unavailable. He completed 19 of 27 passes for 148 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions, adding 55 rushing yards on eight attempts. Bucky Irving carried 16 times for 61 yards. Cade Otton caught four passes for 37 yards, and Chris Godwin Jr. had six receptions for 31 yards.

Green Bay outgained Tampa Bay 283-275, converted all three fourth-down attempts and improved to 2-2. The Buccaneers dropped to 0-4. Cooper left with an Achilles injury and Brooks with an ankle injury. In the Packers’ official postgame notes, Matt LaFleur said Cooper’s injury did not look good and suspected it would end his season. NFL.com’s report by The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman likewise said LaFleur expected Cooper to miss the rest of the year. That remains the coach’s assessment, rather than a confirmed tear or published MRI result. Isaiah McDuffie replaced Cooper at linebacker. Packers Wire’s postgame report lists Green Bay’s next game as a home meeting with Chicago.
