  • Emanuel Wilson scored twice and Uchenna Nwosu ended the Chargers' last possession with a strip-sack as the Seattle Seahawks survived a late rally for a 30-23 win Sunday at Lumen Field. Seattle improved to 3-1; Los Angeles fell to 0-4 after turning a 21-point third-quarter deficit into a one-score game.

Wilson supplied 81 rushing yards on 21 carries and three receptions for 39 yards. With rookie Jadarian Price placed on injured reserve Saturday and Zach Charbonnet still on the physically unable to perform list, Wilson carried the largest share of Seattle's backfield work.

His first touchdown was a 23-yard screen pass from Sam Darnold. Connor O'Toole had recovered Derius Davis' muffed punt, giving the Seahawks the short field that Wilson converted into their first lead.

  • Seattle added a different rushing threat in the second quarter. Rashid Shaheed took a toss 28 yards for a touchdown and finished with 33 yards on two carries, alongside a 20-yard reception. Wilson then scored on an eight-yard run with 43 seconds left in the half, after Ernest Jones IV intercepted Justin Herbert and returned the ball to the Chargers' 20.

  • The game had started with interceptions on the first offensive play for each team. Drake Thomas picked off Herbert, then Tuli Tuipulotu intercepted Darnold on the next snap. Los Angeles emerged from that exchange with a field goal, but Seattle's subsequent takeaways created better scoring opportunities.

Tory Horton's six-yard touchdown catch at 10:23 of the third quarter put Seattle ahead 27-6. Herbert answered with a nine-yard scoring pass to Kimani Vidal, and Omarion Hampton's two-yard touchdown run in the fourth helped keep the Chargers close. Cameron Dicker's late field goal reduced the margin to seven.

  • Nwosu finished the comeback attempt with 1:03 remaining. He sacked Herbert, forced the ball loose and watched Derick Hall recover at the Chargers' 20. Seattle could then run out the game.

  • Herbert completed 19 of 31 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He was sacked four times. Darnold finished 13 of 22 for 168 yards, two touchdowns and an interception; Jaxon Smith-Njigba led Seattle's receivers with five catches for 76 yards.

Penalties kept interrupting both offenses. Seattle was flagged 14 times for 150 yards and Los Angeles 16 times for 130. Independent Seattle Times reporting by Tim Booth noted how Seattle's stalled fourth-quarter offense and defensive fouls allowed the Chargers to stay within reach. The Seahawks finished with 286 total yards to Los Angeles' 301.

Los Angeles also lost right tackle Joe Alt with a neck injury and receiver Ladd McConkey with a foot injury. McConkey had two targets and no catches; the in-game rulings did not establish either player's Week 5 availability.

For fantasy managers, Wilson’s 24 touches and two touchdowns give a concrete measure of his workload with Seattle’s injured backs unavailable. Smith-Njigba remained the receiving leader, while Oronde Gadsden caught five passes for 36 yards on eight targets for Los Angeles. Alt and McConkey’s next injury updates matter to Herbert’s protection and target options. Seattle hosts San Francisco next; the Chargers face Denver at home.
