Chase ruled out after halftime

Second-quarter hit ends his afternoon
Chase was hurt after a four-yard catch from Joe Burrow. Jacksonville’s Jarrian Jones grabbed his facemask before linebacker Ventrell Miller delivered another hit. Chase remained down, then walked off under his own power and entered the medical tent. He subsequently went to the locker room for evaluation.
NFL on CBS’s official clip shows the injury play and reports that Chase walked off and headed to the medical tent. The initial evaluation became a ruled-out designation after halftime, ending his Sunday availability.
Final receiving totals
The final box score credits Chase with three catches for 27 yards. Burrow finished with 428 passing yards, one passing touchdown and two interceptions, adding a rushing score. Tee Higgins caught 11 passes for 157 yards, Dohnte Meyers added seven for 82, and running back Chase Brown caught 11 for 71.
Cincinnati rallied within five points late, but Jacksonville stopped Brown a yard short on fourth-and-10 during the Bengals’ last possession. The loss dropped Cincinnati to 2–2.
